Questions & Answers

01

Pickup & Meeting Point

When and where will I be picked up?

Your exact pickup time and meeting point will be confirmed one day before your tour, around 5:00 PM, via GetYourGuide messaging or WhatsApp.

If your riad or hotel is accessible by minibus, we’ll pick you up directly outside. Otherwise, we’ll assign a nearby meeting point within a 5-minute walk.

Please share your accommodation name and full address when booking so we can assign the best pickup point.
How do I confirm my pickup?

Once you receive your pickup details, simply reply with “Yes, I confirm”. This ensures your name is on the driver’s pickup list. When the driver arrives, always verify they are from Morocco Trip.

My riad is in a narrow alley — how does pickup work?

Many Medina riads are in streets too narrow for minibuses. We’ll assign a nearby meeting point — usually a well-known gate (Bab), school, or hotel — and share the exact Google Maps pin with you.

What time does the tour depart?

The tour starts at 7:00 AM. Since we collect guests from multiple locations, your individual pickup may be between 7:00 – 8:00 AM. Your exact time is confirmed the day before.

Can I be picked up from the airport?

Standard pickup is within Marrakech city (or Agadir for the Agadir tour). Airport pickup isn’t included but can be arranged for an additional fee — contact us.

Tour Details

What time will I arrive back on the last day?

Marrakech return: Around 8:00 PM on the last day.

Fes ending: Around 5:00 PM.

Timings are approximate and may vary with traffic.

If flying the same evening, book no earlier than 11:00 PM. Better yet, fly the next morning.
Can I be dropped off at the airport on the last day?

Yes — we can drop you at the airport when the tour returns (~8 PM) at no extra charge.

Need to arrive earlier? A private taxi from Merzouga to Marrakech costs approximately €250 one way.

Is breakfast included on the first day?

No. The tour starts early, so breakfast isn’t provided on day one. We recommend eating at your accommodation before departure.

Breakfast is included on the second and third mornings.

How many people are in the group?

Shared tours typically have 15–20 travelers from around the world in comfortable air-conditioned minibuses. Ask us about private tour options for a more intimate experience.

Can I skip the camel ride to the camp?

Yes. A 4×4 luggage vehicle drives directly to camp — you can ride along. Note this is simply transport, not a dune excursion. The 4×4 dune tour is a separate optional activity at camp.

What languages do the guides speak?

Our guides speak English, French, Spanish, and Arabic. We match guides with groups based on your booking’s language preference.

03

Camp & Rooms

What’s the difference between Standard and Luxury camp?
  • Standard Camp — Comfortable tents with beds, blankets, and shared facilities. Authentic and great value.
  • Luxury Camp — Private tents with en-suite bathroom, hot shower, quality bedding, and elevated dining.
Can I upgrade from Standard to Luxury camp?

Yes! Upgrade for €60 per person extra. You stay at the same camp as your group — no separation. Let us know before the tour or tell your guide on day one.

Can I choose how many rooms our group gets?

Absolutely. A group of 6 can request 1, 2, or 3 rooms. Just let your guide know on the first day and they’ll arrange it.

Are towels provided?

Yes. Towels are provided at the camp and hotels. No need to bring your own.

04

Transport

My friend booked separately — can we be in the same van?

Of course! Send us both booking reference numbers and a valid WhatsApp number. We’ll place you together and coordinate pickup.

What if I miss the departure or my flight is delayed?

You can take a taxi and catch up with the group. We’ll share the driver’s and guide’s numbers plus the first-night hotel location.

No refunds for cancellations less than 24 hours before departure (costs already paid). Rescheduling available with a €40/person fee.
How do I update my contact number?

Send us your booking reference and new WhatsApp number. We’ll update your details for guide coordination.

05

What is the cancellation policy?
  • 24+ hours before — Free cancellation via GetYourGuide.
  • Under 24 hours — No refund (camp, hotel, transport already paid).
  • Rescheduling — Available with a €40 per person fee.
How do I know the person picking me up is legit?

Your guide/driver has your name on their pickup list. Always verify they’re from Morocco Trip. If someone contacts you claiming to be your guide, check with us — we’ll confirm their name and number.

Morocco Trip never requests additional payment via WhatsApp or in person. All payments go through GetYourGuide.
Can I leave a review after the tour?

We’d love that! Leave a review on GetYourGuide after your tour. Having trouble? Email us your star rating and comments — we’ll help get it posted.
